4 Feb 2012 – Fortis Healthcare Singapore today announced the opening of Novena Colorectal Centre (NCC), an outpatient clinic specialising in the treatment of colorectal diseases.

The NCC was formed by four eminent Singapore surgeons in partnership with Fortis Healthcare Singapore to provide comprehensive integrated colorectal care including genetic testing, treatment of pelvic floor disorders and video-assisted anal fistula treatment.
NCC’s vision of providing dedicated and personalized treatment is supported by thoughtful deployment of technology. At the foundation of this high-tech approach is latest version of VESALIUS Hospital Information System which is enabled to take advantage of the cloud infrastructure.
novaHEALTH consultants have been working extensively with the Fortis users and IT team to incorporate innovative solutions such as e-signature and functional mobility that delivers high-impact results to operational efficiency and patient safety. Most of these new enhancements will be introduced when Fortis opens their Adam Road hospital in July 2012.
