NOVACITYNETS SECURES PROJECT TO UPGRADE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

Sep 2017 – The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), an agency under the Ministry of National Development (MND), Singapore has awarded to novaCITYNETS (NOVA) a multi-million project to revamp the existing Development Management Application System (DAMS).

For the past 10 years, URA as Singapore’s national land use planning and conservation agency has been using DAMS to facilitate:

  • Development Application processing
  • Enforcement processing
  • Legal Requisition processing
  • Development Charge Computation
  • Amendment to Master Plan processing
  • Fees collections / Refund/ Transfer processing

The new system is known as Development Application Exchange 2.0 (DAX 2.0) System. Aside from the existing functionality, the upgraded system will incorporate additional sub-systems to support:

  • Development Control Group (DCG);
  • Strategic Planning Group (SPG); and
  • Planning, Conservation & Urban Design Group (PCUDG) for the daily processing

DAX 2.0 is scheduled to Go LIVE in January 2019.

Having implemented similar large-scale projects delivered for Perbadanan Putrajaya, Malaysia and the CORENET e-Submission System for the Building & Construction Authority, Singapore, this latest success marks another milestone in our history of providing City Planning and Management solutions.
