Nova to implement VESALIUS in Vietnam

Mar 10 – novaHEALTH, a leading provider of healthcare solutions, has signed an agreement with the Hanh Phuc International Women and Children Hospital (HPI) to install VESALIUS™, our flagship web-based hospital information systems.

Hanh Phuc International (HPI), the first purpose-designed private hospital for women and children in Vietnam, is targeted to commence operation towards the later part of 2010. Located in one of the country’s most affluent provinces, HPI will have a 260-bed capacity and 35 medical suites dedicated to the provision of quality Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatric services. Upon completion, the private hospital managed by Thomson International will be one of Vietnam’s most advanced specialty hospitals for women and children healthcare services.

As part of the project, VESALIUS will be enhanced to handle the Vietnamese characters as well as to incorporate changes needed for regulatory compliance.

“Hanh Phuc International is a very important undertaking for novaHEALTH as we are investing significantly to ensure that we succeed in the project. We foresee this success will place us in an excellent position to grow this fast-emerging market,” said Lai Teik Kin, CEO of novaHEALTH.
