May 19 – NOVA announces the signing of an agreement to establish a Joint Venture Company in Brunei Darussalam with Jerudong Park Medical Centre which manages and operates a premium private-hospital in the Sultanate.
The main focus of this JV Company named JPMCnova is to source for, market and deliver practical Information Technology solutions to the healthcare industry in Brunei Darussalam, starting with VESALIUS, Nova’s own Hospital Information System.

Present to sign the incorporation documents was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Kol (B) Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Chairman of JPMC.
Another principal objective of the JPMCnova would be the transfer of technology and industry-knowledge to the local employees of this company. This will equip the local staff to implement and support future projects, as well as participate in joint development.
