20 Mar 2024 – Since 1987, the Kasih Ibu Hospital (KIH) group has gained a strong reputation for providing quality and affordable medical care in a modern setting aided by advanced diagnostic equipment. To-date, the group has expanded to four different sites, making it the hospital with the widest reach in Bali. In 2018, KIH chose to implement VESALIUS hospital information system with electronic medical records and a physician support system in the Kasih Ibu, Denpasar to support its digital transformation plans.
The following year, KIH Kedonganan also adopted VESALIUS.
With the earlier success, the KIH management has decided to roll-out VESALIUS to 2 additional hospitals in Saba and Tabanan, both located in the southern part of Bali. The rapid implementation is possible as it is a centralized system that supports all the 4 organisations and includes data exchange with SATUSEHAT, Ministry of Health Indonesia’s initiative to maintain national electronic health record system.
