NOVA CONGRATULATES KASIH IBU, DENPASAR FOR HOSPITAL ACCREDITATION

Jun 2019 – NOVA extends our heartiest congratulations to the staff of Kasih Ibu Hospital, Denpasar for recently attaining certification from the Indonesian Commission for Hospital Accreditation (KARS).

KARS is an independent, non-profit organization that was established first in 1996 by the Government of Indonesia, to improve and ensure the quality and patient safety in hospitals by measuring compliance and accrediting successful hospitals. Since 2011, KARS has been the member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQHC), an international accreditation organization. The Indonesian accreditation commission adopted the standards, the organization and the assessment process in issuing an accreditation for a hospital.

The achievement is a testament to KIH’s commitment to international patient safety and quality care standards for their patients. This is especially remarkable when only 5% of over 2,400 hospitals have met international care standards.

“We are proud to be part of KIH Denpasar’s accrediation journey; in helping their staff adhere to documentation and communication requirements needed to ensure patient safety,” said Lai Teik Kin, CEO of novaHEALTH.

“We also looking forward to assisting KIH in their accreditation of their other hospitals within the group,” he added.
