16 Jun 2022 – Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL), an integrated cardiac and vascular hospital in Kuala Lumpur recently launched CVSKLgo, a healthcare mobile app solution developed by Nova to strengthen patient engagement.

As part of CVSKL’s digital transformation initiatives, Nova the provider of VESALIUS Hospital Information System (HIS) to CVSKL has customized VESALIUS.m mobile app to meet hospital’s requirements. CVSKLgo is tightly integrated with VESALIUS, thus the extraction of information for viewing is seamless and realtime.

The introduction of CVSKLgo app underlines the hospital continuous push towards digitalization and at the same time enhances patients experience when seeking treatment at the hospital. One of the direct benefits is that the mobile app saves time for patients and hospital staff by providing patients with easily accessible information such as past visits and medical history. Making available self-service patient queries would mean hospital staff can focus on patient care.

Central to the CVSKLgo app is the Health Dashboard that allows patients to view their vital signs such as BMI, pulse rate, weight & height measurements and reported lab results. Via an intuitive GUI, patients can also conveniently navigate to personal records such as past visits and bill summary, referral letters, diagnostic investigations and health screening reports and key clinical information such as drug allergies and medical alerts.

At a touch of their fingertips, patients can manage their own appointments – making one, re-scheduling and cancelling. As part of appointment management, CVSKLgo users receive appointment reminders prior to their scheduled visit.
