OTHERS NOVA MSC BERHAD (NOVAMSC OR THE COMPANY) EYRIS Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of NOVAMSC, secures RM7.13 million project order in Brunei Darussalam

The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, EYRIS Pte Ltd (“EYRIS”), has received an order from JPMCnova Sdn Bhd (“JPMCnova”), valued at RM7.13 million as of today. This award is for the rollout of the National Diabetic Retinopathy (“NDR”) Screening Program in Brunei Darussalam (“the Project”). Please refer to the attached press release for further details.

The Project involves EYRIS collaborating with JPMCnova to implement a comprehensive NDR screening program for Ministry of Health, Brunei Darussalam.  This program will cover all hospitals and healthcare centres, utilizing our cloud-based SELENA+ and EySCAN tele-ophthalmology platform for efficient screening and monitoring.  The Project will commence from 1 October 2024 and will run for 5 years.

EYRIS does not expect any material risk arising from the Project other than the normal operational and execution risk associated with the Project.

The Project will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the Company.  The Project is expected to contribute positively to the result of the Group over the period.

None of the directors and/or substantial shareholders of NMSC or persons connected to the said directors and/or substantial shareholders have any interest, direct or indirect, in the new order awarded.
