| Subject | novaHEALTH awarded a Hospital Information System contract in Brunei Darussalam comprising of implementation contract value of approximately RM8.1 million and 5 years maintenance value of approximately RM5.8 million |
| Contents | On even date, JPMCnova Sdn Bhd (“JPMCnova”), an associated company of Nova MSC Bhd (“Company”), had entered into an agreement with Jerudong Park Medical Centre Sdn Bhd to supply, implement and maintain a Hospital Information System based on novaHEALTH Pte Ltd’s (“novaHEALTH”) VESALIUS application software together with related hardware and software (hereinafter referred to as “the “Main Contract”). Concurrently, novaHEALTH had accepted to be JPMCnova’s subcontractor in respect of the Main Contract and agrees to execute the necessary services required by JPMCnova under the Main Contract for an implementation value of approximately B$3.5 million (approximately RM 8.1 million) as well as a 5 years maintenance value of approximately B$2.5 million (approximately RM5.8 million). The Main Contract will be implemented in multiple stages over the next 12 months, after which the maintenance of the Hospital Information System shall begin. The project is expected to contribute positively to the result of the Group over the contractual period
Directors’ and Major Shareholders’ Interests Other than being the common director of the Company, novaHEALTH and JPMCnova, Mr Chan Wing Kong does not have an interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction. Other than being the common director of the novaHEALTH and JPMCnova, Mr Lai Teik Kin does not have an interest, direct or indirect, in the above transaction. Save as disclosed above, none of the other directors and/or major shareholders of Company or persons connected to the directors and/or major shareholders of Company have any interest, direct or indirect in the above transaction.
