May 2012 – novaCITYNETS showcased our solutions at BuildTechAsia 2012 from 15-17 May at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The leading trade show for the building and construction industry was hosted by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore and featured almost 70 exhibitors and saw a stream of 5,000 trade visitors. Although this year’s show was a condensed version of the previous year aimed at driving up the incentive scheme, its success has encouraged the organiser to make BuildTechAsia into an annual event to capitalise on the industry’s interest in productivity.
“The way forward for construction companies is to better manage their projects by increasing productivity through technologies and more efficient processes. And they need to start embracing them now to benefit from and execute them for the next round of development projects,” Mr. Chua Wee Phong, Executive Director of Sphere Exhibits noted.
During the 3-day exhibition, Nova introduced some of our latest state-of-the-art solutions on Automatic e-Plancheck System, BIM Management Portal and Project Collaboration Portal. Through these developments, Nova has again demonstrated our ability to understand issues of tomorrow and anticipate future industry needs – technological leader and key solution provider in the construction business.
Visitors from all part of Asia were interested in understanding BIM technology and the adoption process for their organization or projects. Many of them are impressed by our BIM track record particularly on iconic building landmarks in Singapore such as The Reflection@Keppel, Garden by the Bay, V@Shenton and Bedok Residence.
