We refer to the above-captioned, and the earlier announcements dated 17th January 2006 and 19th January 2006 in relation to the Summons.
The company would like to announce that in the hearing held at Court today, the charge was read out to the company and a guilty plea was entered. The court has fixed 27th February 2006 for further hearing whereby mitigation and sentencing will take place. Based on lawyers’ advice, the court may impose a fine which ranges between RM2,000 to RM20,000 per copy, which means the total fine which may be imposed is between RM46,000 to RM460,000.
